An e-cigarette (or e-cig) is an alternative to the cigarette, it provide a tiny amount of nicotine with every inhalation.
The electronic cigarette takes form of a thin rod which is a bit longer than a normal cigarette. The device at the front, the mouth piece is a replaceable catridge which has been filled with liquid.

In the patent pending version of the e-cigarette, the main substances contained in the liquid are nicotine, propylene glycol, and optional flavours or aromas.

When the user inhales through the device, the air flow is detected by a sensor. A microprocessor then activates a piezoelectric nebulizer (popularized by the industry as an atomizer), which injects tiny droplets of the liquid into the flowing air and vapourises the nicotine. This produces a vapor mist which is inhaled by the user. The addition of propylene glycol to the liquid makes the mist better resemble normal cigarette smoke. The microprocessor also activates an orange LED at the tip to simulate real smoking.

As far as I know only available on line. If you have, is it a good substitute for smoking real cigarettes. Its a false cigarette containing a nicotine cartridge with apparently no other harmful chemicals, it glows and you can draw off some vapourised water and it makes no smoke or smell.
No…I refuse to smoke any electronic cigarette until they invent electronic nicotine so I can enjoy ALL the advantages of smoking. Shocking!!! LOL

The electronic cigarette/ e-cigarette, some of you might have heard of this some of you might not have. Anyway there is a new product in town which is sweeping through our nations. The electronic cigarette is a revolutionary product and is healthier than its predecessor.
This blog will keep you updated on all the latest news and info on e-cigarettes. I do not smoke much since the UK smoking ban, however I have tried the electronic cigarette. I’d recommend it to smokers who are trying to quit or cut down on the poisons of normal cigarette’s.
P.S If your reading this in the UK, I can tell you now that you can smoke an e-cigarette in bars and all public places that the ban prohibits you from.
